Local Talent on the Free Stage

Sinner To The Saints Band, Jim Pemberton, Brianna Steinle, and Cheryl Seirer are all local talents and appearing the Free Stage. The Russell area has many talented performers. Our Free Stage provides a great showcase for these aspiring artists. Come out and watch your friends and neighbors sing, dance, or whatever it is they do. An evening of fun and laughs. July 27 - 31

4-H Bake Sale New for 2010 Fair

This year you will have the opportunity to buy and enjoy 4-H foods entries after they have been judged. Monday, July 26 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM 4-H’ers will have the option to sell their entry to the public in the 4-H Building. There will be everything from cookies and muffins to yeast bread and rolls. The prices charged will be based upon the ribbon received on the entry. The items will be marked with the ribbon received so that the purchaser will know the quality of the product they are purchasing. The proceeds will go back to the 4-Her. Come out to the 4-H Building Monday evening to enter your open class entry and support the 4-H Bake Sale.

Its easy to enter your item at the fair. Just bring the item to the 4-H Building Monday, July 26 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and the superintendents will be on hand to help you get it entered. Special Note: Gardening or floriculture and horticulture items are not entered until Wednesday, July 28 from 8:00 to 10:00 AM in the North Room of the 4-H Building. The 2010 Russell County Free Fair Book with all open class  premiums and special rules can be downloaded at www.russellfair.com/fairbook.html or picked up at the Russell County Extension Office in the Courthouse. Come out and join the fun at the Russell County Free Fair!
